I was frustrated with my new 1500 cal eating plan. I was on it for 4 days and instead of seeing my weight dropping even by 1/2 a pound as it should have, it was up 1/2 a pound. Figuring out my calories has been a total nusance. I have been trying my best with no cheats for the past 2 weeks and still not showing much progress.
I decided to try keeping track of points rather than calories. I admit calories are far easier to track than WW points because there are additional steps I have to take to figure out a WW point value for the foods I eat. (I use the old fashioned cardboard slider). I found an online chart that tells me how many WW points I can have a day. Based on my age, weight and activity level; I can have 26 points a day. I haven't even messed around with any activity points yet and I know I have earned some. Nor have I looked into the flex points. I think the flex points is still the same as it was when I joined 3 yrs ago, but I am not certain. I haven't banked any points. I have eating 26 points bother yesterday and today.
Maybe it's psychological that I haven't felt as hungry as I had been with 1500 calories. When I look at the foods I ate today, the portion size is very similar to what I was eating on 1500 calories, so I dunno what to think. All I hope is that counting points does some good for me this week.
I work tomorrow and its sad because I don't really want to only because it is interrupting with both my workout routine and my online business work. But its instant money and much needed! Tomorrow is suppose to be just a 30 min cardio workout so I am going to try and walk on my lunch hour.
