I have been toying with the idea of spending several hours in the gym for just 1 month to see what kind of results I can produce. Now I know the contestants on The Biggest Loser spend like 8 hours in the gym, that is why I call it a mini biggest loser challenge. Since I am currently working on a lighter online business venture workload, I should have a bit more of free time in the morning. Just wondering if I could really do it. It's a fun and challenging thought that has provoked my brain the past 2 days. *shrugs* we'll see.
Today I burned 573 calories and worked out for 50 min. I also developed some serious chafing from my workout shorts. Damn this belly fat! Anyhow and I also did a round of upper body strength training even after that 50 minutes of cardio. SO basically I was in the gym for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. That's a long time!
Yesterday I did 50 minutes of cardio for the first time in about 3 months! And, the best part was at about 8:30 pm last night I asked my sister if she wanted to go for a walk since it was gorgeous outside. It was about 68 outside with a cool breeze. So I go in another 40 minutes of exercise.
My goal right now is to burn 500 calories minimum a day. For some reason this seems to be the magic number for me to drop weight consistently. Since last Friday's weigh in, I have already dropped 5 pounds.
I have been eating right in the 1,500-1,570 range the past week as well.
