Review On Diet Drinks: FUZE Black And Green Tea

I've decided to start blogging about new drinks and foods I try out while making better eating choices. So this is the first of many to come.

When I did my grocery haul earlier this week, I picked up some FUZE low carb drinks because: A.) They are tasty and I fill fuller when I drink one with a meal and B.) They run at only 5 calories a serving. As I was picking up some, I saw a new bottle that was the Black & Green Tea with Acai berry. Wow! It is sooooo tasty. The downside is that it has 60 calories per a serving but it has alot more "upsides".  It has vitamins C, E, B3, B5, B6 and B12. It also has folic acid and the antioxidants present in a serving is equal to that of 2 servings of veggies.  I decided that the 120 calorie intake was worth it since it made me enjoy my lunch salad even more because it was sweet and flavorful. I didn't think tea could taste that great! i would definitely buy this flavor again.

I'm going to have to put in some sort of rating system to continue with this. Anyhow The drinks run about $1.00-$1.75 a bottle. Safeway usually has them on sale for 10 bottles at $1.00 each. This week's sale was $1.25 each. I don't think they are too expensive especially since it's nice to enjoy with a meal and it is a great alternative to soda, which has no nutritional benefits, unlike the FUZE drinks.

I purchased two bottles of this drink because of the vitamin benefits. I love the taste but I would like an expert to weigh in on the benefits of the beverage.

@nancy
I’ve only seen them at local grocery stores. You could try Walgreen’s or CVS though.

This is my very favorite tea and the only one I drink. It is very difficult to find them however, but the QT by my house always has them.
